Bio: Mary Jorgensen has 20+ years’ experience in insurance loss control with a specialization in fire protection and life safety. After several years spent as a field loss control representative at Cincinnati Insurance Companies, she spent an additional 10 years as a property specialist. Since 2021, Mary has overseen all field loss control operations ensuring all field associates are equipped with the most up to date technical expertise. During her tenure at Cincinnati, she has been involved in NFPA and SFPE, serves on two NFPA technical committees and also serves on the Membership and Chapter Relations Committee for SFPE.
Topic: As a principal member on NFPA 420: Standard on Fire Protection of Cannabis Growing and Processing Facilities, Mary will provide an overview of this new standard including key chapters and the direction for fire protection and other controls for the industry. She will review key features of the standard, the current status of the standard and expected timeline for publishment.
